He never really showed the confidence, desire and/or ability to just take it forcefully into contact near the rack and at least pick up the foul on his defender. He prefers to pivot and do step aways or high difficulty shots or which almost always attracted help defense. I think the best thing for him is to go play a year for a guy like Dan Hurley at uconn , not be THE man, and get toughened up physically and mentally. Play for a winning program, get his confidence back, and improve his stock.
