Moir was good but after 1981, VT was still a team that would lose games

late in the year against inferior opponents, including early exits in the Metro tourney. Then would go to the NCAAT and lose immediately. Dell Curry and that team never won an NCAAT game. Think about that for a moment. So Pierre may have been the reason Moir was fired, but the last 6 years of his tenure were very, very frustrating if you really cared.
