All the money concerns are around players we paid for projected future performance. Hammond, Hansberry, Johnson, Lawal, Bedford and Schutt gave us a good ROI. Avdalas, Dorn and Pasha were overpaid. They were all players that had not proven they could perform at ACC level before we cut them a check. The implication is clear. We need to lower our financial and performance risk by targeting proven players. If we don’t have the financial capacity to do that then we can’t complain when high risk players do not pan out.
