For one thing, stop shooting threes. He’s struggling terribly in ACC play
I looked up his stats, updated to include today’s game vs Duke. In ACC play, Neo is 34-114 (30%) from the field overall and 9-52 (17.3%) from three.
He’s posted several clunkers recently from behind the three point line, going 0-4 today vs Duke, 0-2 vs Louisville, 0-4 vs Cuse, 0-7 vs SMU, 0-3 vs Cal.
Overall, he’s shooting 29% from three on the season but many of those shots were against bad defense early in the season. He’s our 6th-best 3-point shooter, so why is he allowed to keep cranking them up? If he has the green light from downtown, it needs to turn red IMHO.
