And 70% is exactly what VT has shot the entire season
You can either shoot free throws or you cant. Practicing free throws more will not have the ROI that the casual fan thinks it will, but it will take away time from other aspects that more directly affect your team's play.
Even if VT shot 81.5% from FT today (the nation's best FT %) they would have lost by 1
People need to let go of worrying about FTs
