Its huge in the development of Gurdak...

He still has a lot to work on, but he just doesnt do too many things that make it difficult to keep him on the floor I think, if anything, MY might have been hesitant to play him due to unknowns, but the more you play like that the more its known what he has. He and Dorn do enough things differently that I wouldnt say either one should be a starter without question (neither should be starter if Lawal is healthy) but he certainly hasn't done anything to shrink his role As for Hammond, I truly feel like PG is best for Avdalas's development, but playing him on the wing is best for VT in this season. That's a big reason why he chose VT, but at what point do you say "hey, its better for our team if you play with the ball in your hands but without bringing it up all the time"? He didnt do that with Lawal last year as a 4, so Im guessing it won't happen with Avdalas, but I think it is becoming more and more clear that VT is more dangerous with Hammond in the game than not in it. They've done a decent job of managing those two together, and VT certainly isnt in a bad position with Avdalas at point...just could be better

Hopefully they sleep tonight and limit the typical 20-something action

If they are in bed at 12:05am in 2026......good deal**
