The only thing sillier to me than getting upset about a scrimmage is...

...the crazy expectations some people seem to have for this VT team. Based on the history of basically my entire lifetime, VT is and will likely always be a perennial "bubble" team on good years, and nowhere near NCAA tournament consideration on bad years. Scrimmage results notwithstanding, I don't see any reason to expect anything different from this year's team, and I don't mean that as any knock against the players or Mike Young. I think that is just the reality of what VT's basketball program is.
