to say a work in progress is obvious. at this point I'm most interested in the raw talent CMY has put together. He's good enough to make it complimentary if it is there. although the result of the scrimmage isn't very important in may be evidence that some of our posters got a bit over their skis - we wont be so talented that you just roll the ball out there and assume we can coast by the majority of D1 teams. there are maybe 8 to 12 schools with that kind of make-up. Like dozens of teams I suspect the margin between VT be very good and just another average team is very thin and will depend on those old fashion things- effort, coaching, grit/toughness, bball IQ and luck. I'm cautiously optimistic and excited to finally tip it off!
