yes and No.
I think you are right, but he knows his teams got to play. He wants to micromanage th NIL program from the top and its killing he program,. Where basketball got it wrong, is the set up. IN football, they have a huge player personnel department who accesses values and metrics on existing players, as well as collect data on new players, and is able to calculate a notional value. triumph has their numbers with their limitations and works with it on player negations.
Basketball, its a one person shop on player personnel and detailed analysis accessing value. Also, basketball program has not worked the potential contributors like football (and wresting or women's softball).
Whit need to change the athletic department organization and financing to operate like an NFL/NBA franchises and he doesnt have that knowledge and skill.
