Even if GA alluded to it verbally, that wasn't evidence that it was actually a "Hokie" that made a threat. My guess is if there were threats, that they either (1) were NOT Hokies, or (2) they were unaligned gamblers that bet and lost. The people I know that bet seriously on sports - don't bet on their own teams - they bet on all teams, in multiple sports, and they don't play fan favorites when they are betting. No real Hokie would threaten a VT athlete. And I love the POTD earlier on TSL today that wrote: "anyone that sends a message to a college athlete is a loser".
