I cannot speak to Mac McClung specifically

But this often seems the case for guards trying to make it in the NBA. There are so many options for teams to pick and choose from. It’s hard for me to understand why some kids get a shot over others, especially when sometimes those that don’t get their shot appear to be better players with better resumes.
