Jeez. At this point Whit is probably begging CMY to stay another year

CMY is now officially the bridge to keep the program afloat while VT throws everything at football to try and get into the P2. VT is not any different from FSU (except that we didn’t sue the conference). VT sees that all ACC teams are standing at a critical point in NCAA history. The money gap is large and growing between the P2 and the left behind schools. VT appears to have made the choice to go for inclusion. And that means bball (while important) takes a very real back seat to football in order to make it happen. IMHO
