Agree except that part of the "hand he was dealt" was his own doing

AYes, losing Rice when we did was huge. But we aren't the only team in the country that lost a good player for injury or one reason or another. Beran and Long were brought in to fill roles that they weren't good enough to fill. We weren't equipped to handle physical teams inside. We didn't execute the Mike Young offense that we've seen in past years, the ball movement was way down. And, partly due to not having Rice, we just didn't have enough shooters.
