you mean program, not team. They had shooters in man-bun and jerome.
They were VT in '99 but won it all.
VT football began to lose O players in 2006 or so as players figured out Beamer was all D.
Maybe we can hope UVA basketball doesn't attract anymore good to great O players like those 2 as players figure out Bennet's DNA is to drain the clock to prevent the other team from having possessions.
Only thing is Bennet won it all. Beamer came in runner-up.
