Various answers to that...

As there is going to be a different answer each time you don't continue that trend. The biggest one being that if you are continually hammering someone on a certain action, they spend time outs talking about how to defend it. Usually that means they're pretty good at defending it for some amount of time after that. So it isnt open Sometimes it was a mistake not to continue to do it or VT just missed those opportunities Sometimes you see other opportunities (like open threes) and when you spend an entire season proving you can knock those down, then of course you take them. But VT didn't make them tonight, so the "what if" fairy is working overtime
