Not worried about Pitt stealing a bid from us?

Of course not, they will not win the tournament, just want to see them
knock out free shoes.

They are projected as of today by Baseball america to be in the tourney
so they may end up stealing that bid. We'll see. Their rpi is now 5 spots ahead of us, and this is the most important metric the selection committee uses. We should be in, but I definitely wanted Pitt to lose.

Committee chair said he wants to move away from RPI being so impactful
And use DSR and KPI. DSR we are 24…we’re in

Their official stance is rpi is the core rating they use this year
And DSR is a “reference point”. It is used as a sanity check on rpi only. Their issue with dsr - much more heavily skews sec/acc than rpi does.

My guess is that writer for Baseball america is a Pitt
graduate, as it is difficult to believe a team with a conference record of 11-19 that finished 14th in the conference is going to get into the tournament without winning the ACC tournament. Then again, of course, it is the NCAA, so anything is possible.
