Both committees claimed that DSR & KP would be a new metric for determining seeding and postseason for diamond sports. Well…softball committee straight up ignored it. Biggest beef I have with using RPI by committees is they talk about comparable RPI teams then compare SOS. WELL….that’s double dipping. Invitationals Doesn’t mean they’re not the best conference…they are in both sports (but the B12 is closer to them than they’ll admit). SEC is the best league for diamond sports but they are also given every advantage imaginable as well
