Unfortunately, that is just where things are right now and the portal provides baselines (monetary) for competitive negotiations when/if picked. Despite his lack of time on the mound, I think our staff has felt pretty strongly he will be drafted this year. Where he ultimately ends up (draft, another school, or VT), will be interesting to watch.
