Starting on Thursday makes it closer to a normal week and if they win on Thursday, they can coast on Friday if they wish to. For a 10 seed, things set up pretty well in the pool for VT. Massey suggests 65% chance VT wins against BC and 45% chance against Clemson. A couple of decent pitching performances and I like our chances. I'm not sure how optimistic I am about get a couple of decent performances, however.
