I am hoping Petrich could have a similar impact as Micheletti...

Both played in the A10 before transferring to VT. Micheletti had a superior batting average (.384) and obp (.460) but Petrich had slightly better slugging (.571 vs. .563) and power/run production (15 hr 61 rbi vs. 6 hr 48 rbi) while having similar walk rates (28 bb in 243 pa vs. 28 bb in 262 pa) and only slightly worse strikeout rate (25 so in 243 pa vs. 19 so in 262 pa). Micheletti was able to make the jump pretty effectively and be a middle of the order hitter for us. Petrich will likely hit in the .280 range but as of now, he would be one of our better power hitters. I tend to agree on your assessment of Davis in that he'll likely get drafted. I am not sure how realistic of a target he would be, but Ryan Jaros of NC State (and previously Georgia Tech) would potentially be a good fit at 3B with Petrich at 1B and Lutterman at 2B in the event Davis does go pro. I also agree we could use an experienced left fielder to help round out our lineup. Another power hitter would be nice but if we can get someone in the mold of Watson or Cannizzaro, that would work as well.

I would think Davis gets drafted. We need a middle of order 1B
