I'll repost what I put on the subscriber board: It happened about a half mile from where I live. Dangerous stretch of road. There have been two deaths on it now within the last ten months. I didn't know Joey, but my wife was part of a group of wives that used to hang out at The Meadows Golf and Swim Club in the summers, circa 2010-2017 or so. Joey's mother Jodi was one of the crew. So my wife knew Joey when he was a little kid. Lots of sad people in Radford today. Joey graduated from Radford High School, and everyone knows the family, because his dad used to be the baseball coach at Radford University.
