Shoemaker has not been effective in 3 of 4 last appearances. Going back to

Wake Forest, he's been the first out of the bullpen. Here are his numbers out of the pen: WF: 0.1 IP; 5 batters faced; 3 ER; 3 hits; 1 BB GT: 0.0 IP; 4 batters faced; 2 ER; 2 hits; 2 BB Duke: 2.0 IP; 6 batters faced; 0 ER; 0 hits; 0 BB (very good outing) UNC (so far): 0.2 IP; 4 batters faced; 1 ER; 2 hits; 0 BB
