Whenever we are tested by equal physical talent, our pitchers fold…and I don’t think this is germane to the pitchers themselves, but a general lack of coaching on the mental aspects of the game. -secondly, a consistent preponderance of extremely questionable coaching decision making at key points during the game—-squarely focused on pitching changes at during key moments. Today was a perfect example. Szec’s continued, confounding decision making is a sign of a coach who panics at the most in-opportunistic moment.
