Good luck fast forwarding to where you left off - sometimes that results in a freeze when it forces a commercial break that you can’t fast forward through, even though there is no actual advertiser to fill the space. All that said, the worst part of the ESPN app is having to re-login every other time I use it, re- declare my TV provider, enter a code. I can’t imagine that anyone casually uses the app to watch other games - you have to be a true fan and be willing to suffer for your team to make it work. It’s so dysfunctional that it feels like I’m hacking free content rather than streaming a paid service.

I’ve tried both Roku and my TVs Google OS to stream ACCNx on the ESPN app and it’s like pulling teeth. Every third or fourth time I use it I have to reregister my YouTubeTV subscription. It freezes, errors out, won’t fast forward, has nearly 2 minute “commercial”breaks with a still frame that I don’t dare attempt to fast forward for fear of a freeze and kicking me out to start over. It’s so bad I’m sure no one casually uses it. You have to have a really strong routing interest to fight the fight. I find it easier to stream DivIII games. I refuse to pay for plus because I can’t reward this horrible product with $ but I do miss out on midweek softball games.

At least until she starts playing like one of our top five players. It’s obvious she is one of our most talented and gifted players (Baker is our most talented). I thought she would improve with less point guard responsibility, but she has actually regressed with less point responsibility this year. Too many lazy passes, too upright dribbling in traffic, gets out of control too often. These issues are not necessarily new but are more glaring when she gets into a shooting slump.

Changed my TV provider to Fubo in tge ESPN app but when I select the game, it tells me Media not allowed No TV subscription found for user. I’ve always hated the ESPN app but this fiasco with YouTubeTV is a bridge too far for me and the whole Disney monopoly. I’m ready to find an illegal means of streaming games to avoid this all together!

Between two networks that no one watches

Is to not play close games. This team has absolutely regressed. Time to watch something else to lower my blood pressure - maybe a horror flick.

From the NFL is school pride with nationwide appeal. There is room for more teams as you have so many schools who produce lifelong loyal fans. I care what Alabama does when I believe that VT has a chance to beat them. Without that, I couldn’t care less about a semipro team from Alabama. This is what the P2 are missing - they will lose their popularity when the majority of college fans don’t have any real skin in the game. It’s boring and pushing me to the actual pro league that now has more player loyalty and a much more level playing field.

Is why I can’t understand UNC or UVA being more attractive to the P2 than VT, considering TV drives the $. It also tracks with the overall fan interest/passion you see in everyday life and game attendance.

I’ve wondered all season why there has not been a rotation of the catchers - I thought Aldridge was good last year.

Particularly after the 6th was a huge advantage to the team pitching and playing defense in the top half of the inning. Just bad luck being the “away” team. Although I agree the game should have been suspended, I agree more that a conference softball championship should never be played in Boston. BC fans don’t attend regular season games and New England spring weather is predictably cold. Meanwhile the men’s baseball tournament is played at a neutral site in Charlotte.

Illustrates the incredible contrast between today’s ACC and the B1G. That was a prime time game on the ACC Network with one commercial on repeat (I’m sure a Hyundai wants their money back - as a Hokie fan I certainly want to lay low!). Sad state of affairs.

Chestnut Hill with their HS-level attendance is always a house of horrors for VT. Absolutely unwatchable after just watching MSU vs Purdue. I can’t imagine a clearer picture of where the ACC vs the B1G!

He can’t feel like he really belongs anywhere. At least he got paid.

Very tough matchup for us

Due to officiating. Unfortunately, Tech’s ladies have to do it home and away. It’s always baffling how the more aggressive team gets more calls for than against.

Until she is already well into her shooting motion - something I noticed with many of her misses last year and she seems to be even worse this year.

How does a bench player foul out in the first half? We have some basketball IQ issues

After crossing the line toward Bailey she even raised her elbow on contact. That was NOT “a softball play” as this homer commentator keeps saying.

She has definitely reduced her lift, but seems more hittable now. Her velocity seems the same, which provides the power for long balls when barreled up, but that looked harder to do last year. Maybe it’s being in the ace role (teams studying her film instead of Rochard). I’m not sure HVL is a physical replacement for Traylor’s speed. Soule gave us athleticism that the big 3 lack. We’ll need to find players that replace what we’ve lost (need 3 or 4, unless one or more of the freshman have it). I’d love to read an article that breaks down the incoming freshmen.

Starting her Masters. She has yet to see UVA play in Blacksburg as a student. Sad for much bigger reasons of course, but still sad for her.

Quite a commitment pulling her out of school early every day, making the drive from beyond Leesburg to DC and hanging round for every performance. He’s super proud that she won the role, but I’d never considered what it takes for the parents of young actors.
