I’m right there w you and a lot of my friends are the same way. I’m no
longer glued to the TV for any of these games. Free agency killed MLB and NBA for me. I still watch the NFL some but rarely a full game. I’m getting the same way w college sports. Once you go the free agent route it just doesn’t mean as much anymore.

One glaring omission from VT’s statement on declining an NIT invite
was any acknowledgment of the great fan support this year. That’s a huge mistake in what was already a really bad announcement and speaks to the athletic departments disconnect with Hokie fans.

End of games have been an issue for th Hokies during ACC play and it
reared it’s ugly head again today.. we were down 6 and had the ball w 3:30 minutes to play and we started turning the ball over and missing shots. You can’t win games like that especially against Duke…they are really good. The good news is we were down big early and came back against maybe the best team in the country.

The hoos fouled twice in the second overtime and 4 times
in the third OT to stop the clock. Take those out and the fouls were 21-16. That’s hardly egregious.

Around the 10 minute mark Scheyer took Flagg out of the game
and for some reason they took their foot off the gas. They started slow walking the ball up the court and tried to milk the clock which got them out of their rhythm. Very uncharacteristic of Duke. They had Houston on the ropes and let em back in. The last 1:30 was a like a short chalk talk on what not to do at the end of a game.
