5 weeks

Top 8 teams get a first round bye, so you have 8 games in week 1, 8 in week 2, 4 in week 3, 2 in week 4, 1 in week 5.

The biggest upgrades I've heard about are the upgrades to Merryman.

I'm sure they will add some flashy stuff, but for the most part I think it is going to be getting adequate offices for the army of football staff. The other upgrades are things Whit pitched to the BOV and are necessary and fan-friendly: new Hokie Vision, LED lights, and WiFi.

I don't know how long Hagans has been there

But @Chris Coleman has indicated that last year's OC at PSU has always had ****ty receivers in his system. So Hagans could be taking the blame for what amounts to a ****ty system for WRs. Just playing devil's advocate.

The upper south endzone seats are always the last to sell.

Any time I've bought tickets for a single game from the university at the last minute they've always been there.

That's a good thing. We want to have coaches that other teams want.

That means we're successful. I'll take success and having to find a new coach every once in awhile over our current situation.

The other thing I found interesting...

was they changed the wording of the resolution from being competitive at the top of the ACC to being competitive at the top of the NCAA. All of the previous funding talks had been about positioning ourselves in the top third or so of the ACC. This flat out states that we want to position ourselves at the top of the NCAA. Now they are just words on a resolution, but still felt big. ** Edited by VTHokieTBone7 at 9/30/2025, 10:21:31 AM
