Any knee replacement folks on here?
Scheduling one knee asap and hope to replace second knee by the end of the year. I'm a cheap bastard who hopes to avoid paying deductible again in 2027.
I'm reading that the recouperation time is 6 to 12 months, which is a big span to me. I'm just curious what other's experience has been. Of course, I'll pose this question to my surgeon at my consultation meeting Friday, but I respect the Lounge advice over a highly qualified doctor.

Agree...and sometimes, when something amazing happens, the best thing to do
is to shut up and let the play occur and the fans/players react. Vin Skully was a master at this.

For some reason, I have to think twice about the east & west directions
when looking at a map of Europe. Can't explain it, so I asked AI:
Trouble with East and West in Europe stems from mixing geographical reality with enduring historical (Cold War) definitions, combined with general human difficulty visualizing left/right horizontal directions.
That doesn't really help me much, but I'm curious if this is an issue with others, or just a Tank thing.

He had his shot at VT and hopefully, he'll do better in the FCS. No one...
and I mean NO ONE has more motivation to win than the coaches. If Pop showed the coaches that he provided a better opportunity to win, then he would have played more. I wish him luck, wherever he lands. But he was given an opportunity at VT.

PSA....do what you can to avoid the GII.17 norovirus that's going around.
Very contagious. I spent all day yesterday in bed or in the bathroom (fortunately, they are close together). It must be extremely contagious, because I have not had close contact with anyone other than a trip to the grocery store.

If your contributions are simply a gift, there should be no strings
attached. While the paper dispensers are a very small string, you should simply try to help her to make it her business. She obviously wants to make her own choices. Regardless, you should be very proud for being able to help so much.
