Part of this entries are thrown to the OPEN area and we need to go grab the ball. But we are off balance and momentum is going wrong way!! One turnover was 100% her fault. Move on. She isn’t a 3 point shooter either right?

Do you know who on the team was recruited harder or less and in what order of emphasis the recruitment for each player was? And in your opinion who would you like to see in that spot? Now remember you know nothing about what’s going on except what you watch on the tv so you can’t really answer that with any insight to anything. And I’m not looking for an answer please don’t mention anyones names. All these girls are amazing and working their ass off everyday. She needs to make shots no doubt and nobody knows it or works daily at it more than her. And nothing is going to break her confidence to let up regardless of the “expert” opinions out here 😂 Her teammates believe in her and her coaches believe in her and see her work ethic everyday and leadership. One thing I’ve BUILT is TWO hard working hoopers, graduates (Carleigh in 3 yrs) and Master degrees while hooping . Not seen from my dear friends but actually done it!!

So much leads to how the game goes. How she is played/defended versus others is drastically different which leads to us needing to adjust in many areas. Money has nothing to do with it at VT wbb when it comes to playing time, start or coming off the bench. Watch the game and all areas not just her stats and you’ll learn a lot if you “know the game” Watch how the court shrinks or opens up and how they hedge, and what’s the paint look like when one person has the ball. It’s the same thing with every team and how our teams adjust and how our gameplan works or doesn’t work. Last night was great example and ball movement and energy which lead to better looks for everyone. Matchups at all positions also play a major part and then the mental of everyone. If she was better for us coming off the bench I’d be the first call pushing for that to happen BUT you’re silly if you or anyone thinks her sitting benefits our ability to win. Even when she misses, she still defends makes good plays annd reads and makes defense play everyone else differently. Thats all I’ve got for you this week. Keep watching and supporting. 😉

This should tell you more than you know. One goes 4/17 23.5% and rest goes 6/30 20%. Many shots are extremely contested and there are many reason for that but I’m not going to speak on it. They definitely are better than what tonight showed and have things to figure out. Think God we got kids creating and taking shots instead of shot clock violations. Then we’d be complaining more about turnovers 😆 could you imagine. Anyhow it’s just hoops at end of the day. As are the true fans of the game. She is constantly approached by everyone in positive ways and nobody on this app is harder on her than she is herself! People behind keyboards are just that. If whatever “go to” player wasn’t in the game…. Can you imagine? Wonder if ppl hate Hidalgo 19% three point percentage and taking every shot for the Irish after 40% from last year due to her having to do much more off her own creation and competitive nature! Lot of work to do but no doubt the work won’t stop! Proud to support every young women working to “WIN” games while handle everything that nobody on this board knows about or sees. Nothing like some good ole refreshment following the first week of games. We will always have some ready to burn the house down, some searching for answers that are behind the closed doors and a small few that have some good views and actually understand it’s the second game. If you think any of these girls stayed because the MONEY was so high you’re extremely mistaken. Carleigh isn’t there because she got some bag from VT. She will have a degree within first 3 years of college and then a Masters. Takes an average 17hrs a semester. We use the ball for more…VT isn’t handing out bags of money like many assume. I enjoy the reading and some are just funny. Speaking for her it’s something we joke about if she even happens to see anything. We have a tough skin household so no worries going on. But I will defend it if necessary for any of those girls on any team. It does make them tougher as does the sport

Do you think it’s not something she is focusing on? Not to mention doing it with how much she is hit and playing through. Thanks for the advice and teach her to make layups. Take a look at Hildalgos efficiency. It’s a long season and mental and physical fatigue is real. It’ll improve.

If y’all think for a minute that kid is going to get hit, taunted, stepped over and cursed at without something to say in an important game, yall got the wrong player for what you all want to accomplish in this league. Theres a reason she shoots 3rd most free throws and has most FT makes at VT in a season. She was built to stand tall and be tough. Smart yes BUT somebody gonna stand up for the whole it will be HER. The board has been fun to read throughout the season and if we have to replace these players in the summer it will be a devastation on this board. Mistakes will be made but Carleigh plays the right way and through a bunch of BS which is ok bc it’s a great competitive conference that not many can thrive and star in at a young age. The first off the bench to high five, the first to celebrate and the first to defend her team on the court and definitely herself. Been fun. Take care and enjoy the last few games.

BUT yall have no idea how they were told to play the pick and rolls or where to push players defensively and/or into help sides and over screens or under. Lot of opinions and call of kids directly and hate. This site definitely is over aggressive and silly uneducated opinions although some do know the game BUT not the locker room or schemes. Glad the kids are advised/encourage to stay away from this board.

They need to be careful, find another release from miserable life outside these kids. Be careful what they wish for when it comes to these amazing kids bc if they aren’t careful they don’t know what they’ll see year after year with rosters. Lot of hateful ppl
