Posting History (112)

Def tough plays and VT made several in the OF stranding 15 was why score

Was only 6-2, today is a new day let's see how they react and obviously need to pounce on UCLA early all the pressure is on them

I think the opposite is true, today's pitchers are Glass Joe's

Pitch counts prevent work horses from being discovered there's no magical way to protect arms most humans can't do it without getting hurt for some reason work horses can but we'll never know bc they're babied since little league IMHO

That's baseball make a couple of those plays and

VT gets the expected runs with bases loaded and first and third with no outs and they win

Good news is UCLA is down 3 starting fielders and their ace

They used #2 yesterday so VT will see #3 is Renfrow pitching??? ** Edited by PBHokie at 5/30/2026, 9:49:00 AM

You can't predict what would have happened if Renfrow was pitching

Their starter threw mostly soft stuff and VT was pressing maybe if your ace is on the mound and they score less runs your batters take more relaxed ABs we'll never know... ** Edited by PBHokie at 5/30/2026, 9:07:07 AM

Bases loaded and first and third with no outs

Average, average runs scored is 5, VT one tonight ** Edited by PBHokie at 5/29/2026, 10:55:19 PM

UCLA did use their ace today but their 2 and 3 ain't bad

Wylan Moss (LHP - So.): 2.40 ERA, 5-1 record, 1.07 WHIP, 72 Strikeouts, and a .196 opposing batting average. Logan Reddemann (RHP - Jr.): 2.87 ERA, 8-0 record, and a team-high 84 strikeouts. Easton Hawk (RHP): 1.41 ERA, 6-3 record, with exceptional command

Bottom 5, 5-1 bad guys no bueno they have 2 hits out of the infield

Dinks and dunks, we had bases loaded no outs and nothing ** Edited by PBHokie at 5/29/2026, 9:52:47 PM ** Edited by PBHokie at 5/29/2026, 9:53:19 PM

When was the last time in any team sport VT started bad and finished strong

We all know it's typical to be hyped and fail for our beloved Hokies, I have a strange feeling VT will take down UCLA!

I like our chances to at least split Friday/Saturday, then...

why not face #1 UCLA with all the pressure on them and like previously stated they have a lesser homefield advantage versus the SEC schools.

2014 Ohio State, the ONE in 14-1...

One day VT will make that magical run to win a team NC, hopefully while we're alive! ** Edited by PBHokie at 5/25/2026, 1:55:00 PM

In February we all just wanted to have a chance to be in the conversation

I watched SDSU win @ #1 UCLA this year anything can happen Go Hokies! ** Edited by PBHokie at 5/25/2026, 12:54:38 PM

The runner made a great play getting caught up on purpose then finished it

By running out of the base path, 1st baseman should have thrown home instead of trying to get the second out to lose the game.
