My hypothesis about the Orange Bowl was soundly rejected.
However, if in eleven months a 9-3 VT team were to be invited to the Pinstripe Bowl instead of the Gator Bowl, we would see how meaningless bowl games are to fans.

Can the Orange Bowl ever be meaningless to a real college football fan?
I just read a Washington Post article about bowl games. I won't repost because I thought it was a lame article. It implied that the Orange Bowl was meaningless. I want to know, what kind of college football fan would think the Orange Bowl is meaningless? Orange, Sugar, Rose, Cotton, Fiesta, etc will always be iconic games.

Coaches must be doing something right.
Because in the recent past, many of these talented players were leaving. NIL helps, but I would think #4 could get plenty of NIL at other schools too. So, something is working.

Hard for me to understand, but there are individuals who create
and spread "rumors" in order to make themselves feel important. Blue Bloods Bias must be one of these types. The internet is filled with endless rumors, but when ground shaking news does happen (i.e UT/OU to SEC), there was no rumor prior to the event.
Let me know when JMU announces Fuente.

With no ACC team in playoff and no Big10 in Orange Bowl
ACC bowl tie-ins will be weaker. I think it will be Military Bowl and not Mayo Bowl for VT.

15 years ago, I would have been so excited for 330 ABC against FSU.
