strike zone and not try to over power every batter. The walks and wild pitches are just too much for the team to overcome in big time situations, like Baton Rouge.

You don't need as much runway to safely land as you need to take off.

Pressure on the opposition. The opposition can just wait for the walks, wild pitches, pass balls and lack of VT offense to move on. Not sure what is going to change before the 6 o’clock game. It’s been fun but might be done.

I see an ongoing issue of too many batters taking early called strikes...

getting behind in the count and ending up swinging at junk for an easy groundout. I read posters preaching of "patience" but if patience is taking called strikes early in the count, might as well swing.
