Sending up prayers for you and your family Jeffrey.
I hope this can comfort you: my sister (64), had a very successful minimally invasive lobectomy this morning to remove a 1.5 inch cancerous tumor from her lung. The surgeon did a great job and she’s doing so much better tonight than anyone expected. She’s in good spirits and hopes to be discharged Wednesday. Sending positive vibes to you!

JPJ ushers wouldn’t let fans sit on announcers side until …
In a general admission seating match, announcer side seats were blocked off until the opposite side was “full”. We were penalized for getting to the match somewhat early. I have never experienced something like that. They finally allowed fans sitting on the announcers side after several bouts had finished. 🤔

I happened to see that live.
What bothered me was the ref didn’t immediately make a call and had to consult with the other ref to decide if an obvious call was warranted. Then he makes the wrong “unnecessary roughness” call when it was both that and unsportsmanlike conduct! I guess he didn’t have the gonads to make that call at a Penn State home match.

We made an impact on giving day! We finished 4th in sport-specific giving with 130 donors to get an extra $2000 prize. WBB (288), Softball (257), and Football (200) were ahead of us.

Curious why the ref didn’t immediately stop the match due to Stanford
pulling on Connor’s singlet technical violation before Connor got the takedown.

I learned something new from the Robie interview
I didn’t realize that true freshman couldn’t wrestle unattached during their 1st semester, so any time they wrestled in a dual/ tournament in the first semester, it counted as one of their events. Thanks Pat Finn and Sons of Saturdays!
