he lost his starting job here.. wish nothing but the best for the kid but that was a missed evaluation by this coaching staff

did I ever say he played mid major? I ask if he was a mid major talent..
as a former or current coach you should be able to evaluate at this level against any competition.

Would yall consider jayden young a p4 talent or mid major?
genuinely curious, I’m on the side of mid major because of his inconsistency and lapses on defense this past season. I do think he can improve but it took him all season to get his shot going in consistently.

if you saw his body language towards then end he didn’t even wanna play.
Don’t know if that was flu or him getting benched but it’s definitely a concern and he’s a liability on defense.

I’ve been to every CofC home game this year. (Yes I’m a student here)
He shows great effort defensively and it shows, great defender in transition. The only thing Robbie has over him is 2 inches.
Actually been to every home game the past 2 years.

Was thinking the same thing myself.
Pat Kelsey also uses a 10 man rotation typically, so it could be about his mpg.
Pat has only taken 2 players from CofC, one being Reyne Smith who played the most mpg last year and a true freshman center who played 15 mpg this year.

I would say it’s an equal amount of both
I also think he’s better offensively than Robbie and Tyler. He can’t shoot as well as tyler but makes up for it by attacking the rim.
Robbie is better defensively than Ben.
