When it’s “crunch” time. It’s getting old, but at least we’re playing well enough to win a lot more games if we figured out how to close better

Has anyone heard anything about RB Savion Hiter the
Louisa County 5 star kid who committed to Michigan, decommitted at least is considering the Hokies? There is a rumor circling locally there that this MAY not be just a rumor? This kid is an amazing athlete who would easily be the best RB on our roster

Viable for us to do it given the priorities at the time. We were not the only program who had a new lpractice facility without a/c and maybe things have changed enough where it makes sense financially for us to do it

Semantics. He signed a contract obligating him to
Play football for Duke which enabled him to collect NIL income from whatever source would pay him in exchange for use of his name and likeness. He may win the lawsuit for that issue but Duke is suffering harm and should at least get compensation for him violating the contract at the last minute, perhaps and probably affecting Dukes ability to get a different QB with similar/equal skills. College football is broken because of - what else- greed and money

What I should have said is he gets income from whoever uses his name and likeness while playing football for Duke.

I’m no lawyer but this is so simple, to me….Mensah gets income from
from Duke for use of his name and likeness while playing football for Duke, and no one else . In order for Mensah to get that income he agreed to play football for Duke. If he does not play football for Duke he broke the terms of his contract and Duke has every right to be compensated for that and this late in the game Duke IS suffering harm they cannot recoup so they are due damages. But…won’t be at all surprised to see Duke get NOTHING here.

If the contract both parties signed in good faith
means nothing to Mensah and his agent then1) Duke doesn’t need to pay him or do anything else for him that was in the so-called contract, and 2) then NO contract between any player and any school is legitimate. This situation is total bullcrap.

It’s the QUALITY of the players more so than he quantity. I’ve seen no results on the field yet to tell me our coaches benefit at all from the transfer portal. The playing field was and remains tilted to the programs with all the money.

He has proven to be an average or slightly better recruiter and a below average WINNER and a far BELOW average winner when he game is on he line

That out he isn’t HC material here or anywhere else. The offense is TOTALLY predictable and juvenile in it’s design. Talent is wasted . No team can be the least bit concerned about us shoving the ball down their throats. It’s almost pathetic.

Next year WILL be a struggle with No Liz, no Georgia no Strack plus of new
faces with limited expertise. Imagine if we had played the entire season last year without our All Americans…..Duffy will have her hands full and patience will be the name of .next year’s game. No way around it
