..been shouting this about Big Pat the WHOLE TIME. :-)
But yes, aside from the one transition dunk, his defense kept #44 in check to the point where he was virtually shutdown while Wessler was on the Court.

You are correct for this game,
However, you neglect the context of this. This was his first year at Combine as a Sophmore or Junior in HS, and he wasn’t the starter at first. I know this b/c that was when Robert Dillingham and Omarion Bodrick were on the team before they transferred to Donda Academy. Omarion was the starting Center then and Patrick wasn’t full time starter until the last half of his junior year.

Other people on this site might worship every word you say, but I see through your BS. I’ve seen most of his Combine games and I don’t remember any of them where he didn’t start. And as for playing zone who cares?

Maybe you should rethink your life….
If you are that focused on what Big Pat does on the court. Maybe you think making fun of him on a chat forum will help you feel better about yourself in some way.
From what others have replied to you, his skill level is great and deserves to be starting on an ACC big-time program. I’ve seen him dominate in his competition against 5-star players when he was at Combine. As for the going out to the key on defense Poteat does the same so don’t you think that’s what they were taught to do by CMY?

…when MY only gives you 9 min a game like he does for Wessler. When Pat is out there, the defense from the 5 is better. Some blocks as well. Giving him more than nine minutes playing time would be better for the defense

Don’t you think MY would actually play him? I’ve read your past hatred towards Wessler, so I know you’ll never admit he is the best big they have. But come on man! Your Ryan Jones love has got to stop.

Not ready for prime time?
How do you know if Wessler never actually get a chance for primetime. Sure he played more minutes against Duke than he’s had, but a one game sample of more minutes shouldnt be a measuring stick for that.
He is 100% ready and hopefully CMY i’ll give him more chances for more playing time.

How many games have we led or been solidly close at halftime… gone to small ball rotations in the 2nd half… cut Wessler’s minutes … and got worked. Curious what that point differential is.

..again for the witty yet always amusing analysis. However, I disagree on one part. Wessler is there already and is a matchup problem on the court, IF they pass him the rock. They aren’t getting him that pass, (especially on the pick-and-rolls). Once they consistently get him the ball, his matchup exploitation will be seen.

… but not getting the ball pass to him especially when he rolls to the basket after the pick-n-roll. Pass him the ball!

If Jones was really “the Savior” like..
…everyone was proclaiming last year, don’t you think CMY would be playing him? And as for Gurdak, we have no idea how his game will be in college and no idea if he will truly fit on CMY’s system until he actually gets here. So I’m not worried about either of them taking Big Pats job.
