One regret is not supporting the vball yeam
While I was in school . I played as much as possible at war memorial and on the sand courts, but never got out to the games at Cassell.

The 'old' Ted?
Ted Constant Conversation center -2002- is pretty new compared to the Scope. The legroom at the Scope is non-existent and the sightlines aren't as good. I'd much rather watch a game at the Ted.

Especially with a band like "Nosferatu" out there at the same time.
My long term Metallica + Tech memory - Fall 89, waking up underneath my desk at sometime during the night/early morning, as one does in Architecture school, to the dulcet tones of "One" blasting on the 2nd floor of Cowgill. Good Times...

Tyrod vs Fields
I saw the JetsJetsJets! signed Justin Fields. Given the money they spent on him, I'm guessing Fields is QB1. Anyone want to hazard a guess if and when Tyrod sees playing time in the regular season?
I keep hoping TT will get a fair look at starting again, but that window is closing rapidly if not already closed.

WVU is a nostalgia opponent for us Old Heads
Who remember the vitriol in the the early 00s. If VT were able to replace ODU with a more TV friendly matchup, I think looking more to an SEC or B1G opponent in an important recruiting area would be more desirable. UMD or Rutgers, or USCe would be more plausible.

Made it back from the burg to VA Beach back in the late 80s, early 90s in slightly over 4 hours. 81- 295-64. It's doable in that timeframe.

TIC - As a person of Asian descent...
You're a little off with your slur, since I believe the breakdown of asian ethnic groups in the Metro DC,NoVA and MD area is predominantly Korean, followed by Vietnamese, Indian, Filipino among others, I think a Korean slur would be more in line than a Chinese slur. I don't know the specific slur for Koreans, can any of you racists out there help us out?

Except for the elevator...
The ODU stadium is very nice, great sightlines, even in the cheap seats. Maybe you're hurt because our team stunk it up there (I know I am), but don't take it out on the building.

hard to catch a ball
with one of your arms being pinned down and away by the DB. Ref probably didn't see it because of his angle, or swallowed his whistle because PI was just called. Should have been a booth review IMO

Didn't watch the game to tell
The roster cards had our LBs as taller and heavier than FSUs starters. Google has "prototypical" LB ranging from 5'-11"-6'-3" and 210-230 lbs. Our guys are are all in the upper level of measurables. Listening to the game it sounded like they were frequently out of position, which leads me to believe they were not put into position to succeed by the coaches.

Not sure of timing, but the plan was to renovate/enlarge the north end zone, then add to the west stands.
