ACC coach of the year.

We definitely had some lucky wins this year, but you can't argue with preseason pick 14th playing in the championship.

I acknowledge that he said that.

Truth is that we had enough pull to force you guys in.

Nah, I didnt protest; I have hokie friends.

Cousin was part of Beamers 1st class, sent my sons to tech, used to attend a few games a year there.

4 highest conference champs and 1 spot for highest g5

If Duke wins NT/Tulane will take the last auto bid. No one knows if that make UM #11 or another g5 gets in. My guess is 1 g5 and Miami.

Again; you have a bigger student body and alumni base.

If you can't understand what I wrote ask someone to explain it to you. And some of your sell outs appear to be ticket sales vs. butts in seats. Just saying.. See you in Charlotte; oh wait, nervermind

Oddly enough UVA had 56k for WSU game and vt had 53k for Cal. Despite tech

Having a larger student population and alumni base. But attendance is just half of your comment. As for the easy schedule - tech had a chance to knock us out of the championship

The league is desperate for traditional powers and bigger schools to win.

League leadership isn't going to keep FSU, Miami, and Clemson from crapping the bed. Until those teams step up the smaller schools with big budgets are going to be competitive.

I work with a ton of Hokies that root for Duke cine basketball season.

Many that root for UNC as well. They used to claim it was because you guys were in A10/Big East. Now they claim they root for them and tech both.

Those 2 joint acc titles involve the Hoos beating the team they tied with.

You do the math. And dont be bitter. I know its killing you that UVA has a chance to make the playoff before tech, but at least JMU isnt going before you.

Those hokies couldn't get it up for UVA? I dont think so.

Counting your td against the backups UVA has given up 8 tds in the last 6 and 1/2 games. Granted, those dropped passes helped. We stopped your "vaunted" run game, which really is all you had this year. Oh, and your worst loss was to a 2-4 WVU in '03.

That's true, but you don't upset about hs coach by pulling

His former player's scholarship. You explain he's being passed over and convince him that its his idea to move on.

I didnt mean my comment as disparaging toward tech.

Simply that it was reported that he was interested if it were to open. FSU has more resources and have recruited the tidewater well in the past - plus Florida is a hot bed for recruits as well. Btw, I expect Tech to play its best game of the year against us.
