Question. Do we schedule too many games?
It seems like we have run out of steam near the end of the season the last two years. Despite the benefits of playing a tough schedule and being game hardened, would we benefit by reducing the schedule by 10 games or more?

I'm OK with legalization if you can tell me how many joints your child's
bus driver can smoke before he/she gets behind the wheel. That typically ends with me winning the argument, agreeing along the lines of what you have presented.
Also, many will disagree, but I still contend that marijuana is a gateway drug.

Just playing devil's advocate, if control was important,
shouldn't the State be the only outlet selling marijuana?
I don't think we ever get the real financial picture of the ABC business in Virginia. All of the stores, maned by all of those state employees, each with benefits and lifetime pensions. If it is truly profitable as reported, all of it could be replaced with a stroke of the legislative pen, with increased alcohol taxes and nothing would be lost.
We let all of the gambling business go to WVa. and D.C., but we hang onto alcohol. Continues to be a head scratcher to me.

A simple solution
If bathrooms were designed to have a convenient place to hold your concealed carry piece, this wouldn't happen, instead you find yourself laying in the oddest of places. A simple hook on door would suffice and it would be in plain site, so you would be less likely to forget.

Fraudulent Credit Card Charge
Yesterday I had a fraudulent credit card charge made on my account by a company in Atlanta. The card number was manually entered. Ironically the amount was identical to the second and final installment of the bowl ticket purchase with the VT ticket office made on the same day. Anyone else have anything else similar happen?

Attendance was WAY above 200.
There were 150+ VT fans alone, with big groups from Kansas, UConn, and a larger than expected group from UCLA.
The kids were using a combination of towels and mops to dry the floor, there were really no issues after the first game. I spoke to one of the game officials who was on my same flight home and he confirmed the same. Coincidentally, he also called the VT / Iowa game and spoke to how incredible the crowd was in Charlotte.

There was a good 15-20 feet behind the team bench and the first row.
I know because I was there. Lighting was good, floor conditions were good. The only thing I would comment on how where how many different sets of lines there were on the floor.
The gym didn't cause us to have turn overs galore. That was the primary issue in my mind.

Watching the game from Grand Cayman
Streaming options like YouTube TV, etc will not work, even when using a VPN. Creative ideas for watching the game on Saturday?

I would be willing to say that ESPN is on borrowed time
Never underestimate Disney's ability to F up a soup sandwich. ESPN can only cut so many expenses and with the mass migration to streaming, the steady decline from the cable TV subscribers is tumbling. Many streamers find they can live without ESPN or they find ways be hook or crook to watch telecasts. I would fully expect that ESPN and the other broadcast networks to suddenly start loosing interest in massive contracts for the various leagues.
I think of similarly to what happened with NASCAR. NASCAR divorced ESPN to chase more money with alternate networks and the sport of racing has never been the same. With ESPN, you had 7 days per week coverage and conversation about the sport. Now you need a scheduling assistant to just be able to figure out where and how to watch a race.
