DeMatha Catholic (Hyattsville, MD) place-kicker Michael Branthover enjoyed a big-time junior season, connecting on 57 of 58 extra points, seven out of eight field goals with a long of 44 yards and booting touchbacks 80-percent of the time. The 5-11, 180-pound rising senior, who also serves as the Stags starting punter, is looking for his first FBS scholarship offer.
"I'm getting interest from Virginia Tech and also from Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas State, Cincinnati, a little bit from Rutgers and N.C. State," Branthover said. "Mainly, that's it for now."
