This off-season, Varina standout Davon Morgan has been intense and focused on preparing for his senior season and a run at a state championship for his Blue Devil squad. The 6-0 quarterback/free safety has enjoyed working with his teammates and has helped improve his strength and size as well.
“I’m up to 188 pounds,” Morgan said. “Our team has been doing a lot of stuff in the off-season. We’ve been working harder than ever before. We push, pull, run…whatever it takes. And this team is coming together better. We root for each other and we push each other.”
