Morgan played quarterback and free safety for Varina as a junior. On the year, he completed 70-138 passes for 1402 yards, 20 touchdowns and six interceptions. He rushed 75 times for 505 yards and 7 touchdowns. Defensively, he had 9 interceptions. <br /> <br /> Morgan was named the 2005 offensive player of the year in his district. He was named to the first-team all-metro defense by the Richmond Times-Dispatch.
