Any longtime or connected fans here familiar with a Coach Pollack?He has
Supposedly done some coaching a SERTC and was good friends with the last few VT coaches.
He and wife Julia are headed to Cleveland with front row seats to pull for VT. His wife and I do volunteer work at a Community Garden growing produce for a food bank. Just would like to hear more about his history with the program.

I first met him when my son was coming up in the youth leagues in Montgomery County, and Coach was working with the kids and working as the PE teacher/Middle School Coach at Christiansburg Middle. He had some really good kids, some not-so-gifted kids, some great wrestling kids, some challenging kids in that program, and some of both!. He worked with them all equally and gracefully.
My son and his buddies were some of the very best to come out of Christiansburg High School, and a lot of that was due to the solid fundamentals that Coach gave them. (He gave them some flare, too, but he gave them the base to grow on.)
I spent a lot of time with him on the wrestling trips, bingo, and practices. He's a good one! And so is Julia!

Wrestle! Julia is a hoot in the Community Garden. She is a great volunteer but wants to pick produce before it’s mature and grown to its potential! You have to watch her! I was the PooBah when we started the garden and designed all the raised beds and no-till areas. We grew 23k worth of produce the first year for a local food bank!

that started off at Riverheads a couple decades ago then had his son wrestle for christiansburg(sergio pollack?), I know him.
