That danger call was close. I would probably say no takedown, but I’m not an expert. FRL talked about how there is reaction time for neutral danger, which I did not realize and changed my opinion. And the broadcast talked about the fact that there was no reason for Lovett to roll through until the count started (which was definitely late). If the ref started the count earlier, does Ridge roll through sooner? Who knows. Either way, I definitely thought Caleb was the better wrestler and controlled the match. If he finishes just one of those deep shots…although if Ridge keeps that turn inbounds… Great match all around with some really tough hand-fighting and I think that very well could be the finals in March. I would honestly be surprised if Caleb doesn’t come out on top of that one. I do really like Ridge though and look forward to that rematch.

When Ridge hit the little duck under for the takedown, that obviously caught Caleb by surprise. I doubt he will be able to hit it again. I don't think the match provides the same benefit to Ridge because Caleb's advantage was his relentlessness and ability to attack. The 3-pt takedown is a big advantage to Caleb also as he is considerably better on his feet than Ridge, IMO. Ridge is excellent and aggressive on top though.

The funky, scramble, duck-under position that Lovett found himself in for his takedown was a result of Caleb's shot and not any offense created by Lovett. Lovett is a hammer on top for sure, but I think Caleb is much better on his feet.
