I attribute much of the perseverance that has gotten me through my

professional career and other life hurdles to my hs and [abbreviated] college wrestling challenges. Few other sports are so physically, mentally, and emotionally demanding. I so admire Mekhi more for his tenacity than his skill. I fondly recall the relief of finally being able to heal from injuries. Unfortunately, many of those have re-appeared during my later years.
