No one has talked about this but I'm going to bring it up: I've watched each of the last 5 ACC Championships and VT/NCSU duals and I believe NCSU spends a huge amount of time and effort prepping to beat VT wrestlers in the championship. Intense scouting and drilling on each of our wrestler's strengths and weaknesses. I do not believe we are matching that effort. They were not appreciably better than us in the dual but were in the tournament. If we would rather prep for the nationals instead of NCSU that's fine but IMHO, NCSU clearly wants that ACC banner more than we do and it shows.
