I think a lot of us understandably got super excited at ACCs, but let’s not forget that this was intentionally a deferred year to make a serious run next year. We redshirted our National Champion and 3x AA - that was easily the 149 favorite this year - so we could line him up with some generational talent in Basset and our super strong freshman class. Seidel is legit. Losing to Jax is nothing to be ashamed of and I think Jax will major Davino in the finals. He could finish 3rd. Gaj is legit. He needs to improve on his feet but our 5th true freshman AA. Great defense and a threat to score from any position. Ventresca needs to take notes from Seidel, Bassett, and Henson. Attack!!!! He has one more year and his showing at Nationals has to burn. I actually liked what I saw from Bullock and Desiante. They wrestled tough and just fell short but have a chance to AA next year. Sasso and Mullen need to improve. Sasso had a tough 1st round match but I’m one of the fans that believe we need new blood at HW coaching. I’m excited about 2027. Go donate to SERTC!
