Hypothetical for Seidel…

NCAA Finals against any of the stud 133’s and they take neutral in the 2nd to avoid going under Seidel. It’s 0-0 going into the 3rd and it’s our choice. What’s the call? The norm would be to take down and get the escape to take the lead, but with Seidel’s elite top game you have to entertain the idea of taking top. If he gets the escape and takes the lead, he would have to avoid giving up a takedown as well as giving up a stalling point the rest of the period. Taking top puts him in his best position. A ride out wins a Natty! If you were in charge of making the call, what are you taking?

Don't underestimate Seidel's ability to get a reversal and then to go to

Need more data collection before making that choice to go top

Don't overthink it. Take bottom.

Not overthinking it

Marcus Blaze is better on bottom than anyone Aaron has wrestled
