Their guys want to be national and world champs, and would rather develop at Penn State to be the best they can be than start somewhere else. I actually think our coaches did a great job and got some similar buy in from guys like Gorman who aren't going to start next year. Something has got to give at some point though. You can't be a national champion if you aren't in the lineup. Like, maybe Kasak can't beat Duke day in day out to win the starting spot, but in one match at the national tournament, he could potentially pull the small upset. 5 for 5 will be really interesting to watch. Will blue chippers sitting become more normalized, or will it spread talent out? Probably a bit of both.
