That 2016 team is nothing like the PSU of today
Conway, Gulibon, Rasheed, McCutcheon don't sniff a starting spot today. They didn't even have a heavyweight. And they still beat our best ever team. Our very best wrestlers may benefit from getting those matchups, whoever they may be when it hypothetically happens. The other 7 or 8 guys would just get wrecked in a way that I don't think would be beneficial. Maybe that's still a net benefit if it can help a top guy win a title in March, but as a fan, I really don't care to see us get wrecked.
It's terrible for the sport, but we really are all competing for 2nd right now.
