From what I've seen (and just heard) TJ will likely improve
I get it that we should never take anything for granted and when a young wrestler places nothing is guaranteed the following years. We could also look at the blood round opponent he beat, Chris Foca who finished 3rd last year, Taylor Venz of Nebraska, and the list goes on - as they say that's why they wrestle the matches.
He's got the right attitude and approach, and I think he hit his stride only in the last two-three months of the season (going back the past 2 seasons). If he has settled into 184 as his weight, that could help a lot too. Hopefully him and Sonny Sasso make good workout partners and a nice one-two for years to come.
